Ankura’s Intervention Program helps parents achieve what every parent wants for their child with developmental delays and/or special needs - to help a child develop and utilize all of his or her natural abilities and to participate as fully as possible in his or her family and community life.
We cater to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down’s syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity, Global Delay, and Hydrocephaly.
The program is a unique school module where we have a full-fledged facility for early intervention and an integrated play school under one roof. Early Intervention is carried out through various methods like – ABA, RDI, floor time, multiple intelligence, Manual Signing, Early Start Denver Model, Developmental Social-Pragmatic Model, Discrete Trial Training, Functional Communication Training, Incidental Teaching, Pivotal Response Training, Positive Behavioral Support, Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Social Stories, TEACCH Method . There could be a delay in children in various developments due to several reasons- genetics, pregnancy, delivery. The key is early detection and early intervention. An intensive early intervention can have a better impact on the problems or delays of children.
The pedagogy of teaching is eclectic with evidence-based practices in from all over the world and today. As part of the program, parents are empowered and taught the child’s preference and style of learning.

Early Intervention program focuses on a very crucial time in your child’s life, especially for children with special abilities, which is your child’s development period from birth to three Years of age.

Ankura caters to children who are educable with IQ around 60 – 70 and who are 5 – 12 years old. These children are not ready for mainstream schools nor have severe needs, physical disabilities or behavior issues to go to a special school. Such children are taught functional skills and are helped to develop whatever ability they are capable to reach their potential and be independent. Also prepare them with prevocational skills, art and dance.
